You know those gorgeous (composite) photos of babies delicately hanging from a tree branch? Well, I guess it comes down to personal taste as to whether this is your ‘thing’ or not. I like simple shots of babies, and don’t think many ‘accessories’ are needed when photographing them, however I do love a beautiful shot of a newborn hanging from a tree branch (when I know it has been performed safely – see the SHOOT BABY! Newborn Safety page for more info on this). I think it has something to do with the simple beauty of nature and newborns combined…I do also love flowers very much! If you like this kind of look then you are probably going to love the next prize up for grabs, as it acheives a very similar look/feel to the ‘hanging from branch’ photos. You could also use this type of backdrop for any subject really, not just newborns.
